Professional instruction on how to safely give and receive body contact. Safety is our top priority. This comprehensive program is designed to give players the physical tools and the situational awareness needed to compete safely and effectively.

• Coaches: Peter Sejna, Jamie O'Leary, Chance Ubel
• Dates: March 28th & 29th (Saturday & Sunday)
• Price: $175
• Eligible Birth Years: 2008 – 2015 (focused on 2012 – 2013)
• Check-In: 1:30 PM
• End: 4:15 PM

Daily Schedule

• Classroom Instruction: Tactical breakdowns and video review to understand the "why" behind the techniques.
• Off-Ice Training: Dry-land drills to build proper mechanics, balance, and posture before hitting the ice.
• On-Ice Session (2:30 PM – 4:15 PM): High-repetition drills and situational gameplay to apply concepts in real-time.

Key Teaching Concepts

• Safety & Awareness: Heads-up hockey, identifying danger areas and high-risk situations on the ice, and understanding the rules of contact.
• Fundamentals: Proper posture, balance, and the specific edge work required to safely receive and deliver hits.
• Tactical Body Position: Angling concepts, timing, body positioning in battles, and net-front play.
• Power & Execution: Transferring power into hits, eliminating the man, and "killing the play."
• Defensive & Evasive Skills: Evasion tactics, stick-checking concepts, and defensive coverage.
