Dangles & Dekes Camp

Take your puck control to the next level with our elite Stickhandling, Dangles & Dekes Clinic. This program is designed to help players develop "soft hands," lightning-fast reaction speeds, and the confidence to navigate through tight traffic. Through technical breakdowns and high-repetition drills, we focus on the art of deception, puck protection, and the creative skills needed to beat defenders in 1-on-1 situations.

  • Deception & Fakes: Learning to use head, shoulder, and eye discipline to freeze defenders and goaltenders before executing a move.
  • Puck Protection: Utilizing body positioning, angling, and "under-handling" to shield the puck from poke checks and maintain possession in tight spaces.
  • Creative Deking: Training specific high-level moves (dangles) to beat defenders 1-on-1, including toe drags, backhand-to-forehand transitions, and slip moves.
  • Escaping Traffic: Developing the agility and spatial awareness to navigate through the neutral zone and execute creative plays in the offensive zone.
