Shooting & Scoring Camp

Elevate your game with our elite Shooting & Scoring Clinic, designed for players who want to transform from "shooters" into "scorers." Through a combination of technical breakdown and high-intensity situational drills, we focus on the mechanics of power, the precision of accuracy, and the tactical hockey IQ needed to beat elite goaltenders in every area of the offensive zone.

Shooters Schedule

• Check-In: 3:00 PM
• Off-ice: 3:10 PM - 3:45 PM
• On-Ice: 4:00 PM - 5:45 PM
• End: 5:45 PM

Goalies Schedule

• On-Ice Only: 4:45 PM - 5:45 PM

Eligible Birth Years: 2008 – 2017

Daily Schedule

• Classroom Instruction: Tactical breakdowns and video review to understand the "why" behind the techniques.
• Off-Ice Training: Dry-land drills to build proper mechanics, balance, and posture before hitting the ice.
• On-Ice Session: High-repetition drills and situational gameplay to apply concepts in real-time. Drills and progressions will be adjusted according to the age and skill level of the players to ensure optimal development for every participant.

Key Teaching Concepts

• Shot Mechanics: Mastering the technical fundamentals of the wrist shot, snap shot, and backhand, focusing on proper weight transfer and follow-through.
• Release & Deception: Developing a "quick-release" to beat defenders and using change-of-angle tactics to deceive goaltenders before the shot.
• Tactical Scoring Areas: Understanding high-danger scoring zones, net-front presence, and the art of hunting rebounds and deflections.
• Power & Accuracy: Drills designed to maximize puck velocity while maintaining pinpoint accuracy under pressure and at high speeds.
• Situational Finishing: Evasive maneuvers to create shooting lanes, 1-on-1 finishing moves, and executing under tight defensive coverage.
